End of Year Reflection

This is my end of year reflection for this year. I will become a year 6 by next year. This is my last post this year till the holidays. I hope you be safe and respectful to the public. Bye.

Doubling and halving

This is my reflection for my book club. Do you know about book club? Book club is about books that you're interested in. I am in the Ride of the Katipo. A Katipo is a type of spider. I really was interested because of the blurb. But I found out that the Katipo was a human. The human Katipo was called Jock tanner. Plus the main character is Jack. There are other novels you get to read too. We've got Lost, Sign of the warrior, Ride of the Katipo, Flight from Ledron and One wheel drive. You can choose which one you think that you're interested.

In writing, me and my class Flox were writing diamante poems. We have been doing other poetry like tongue twisters and free verse poems. Here are two of mine. One is about Monsters and the other is about night or what happens at night.

Snoring Away

Creeping along the dark night.

Tired people, Murders happening, Sleepy night

Tip-toing quietly, Robbers breaking all through the night

Quiet night, Warm night, Cuddling in blankets

Sleeping tight, Not making a move,

While it’s dark through the night

Villagers falling asleep.

Scaring Monsters,

 In the dark closet in the room

 Creeping, Scaring, all through the night

Tiptoeing, Hiding under the bed, Hairiest monsters

100 Word Challenge Week 8

This is the 100 Word Challenge for week 8. I was a bit confused by the prompt this week. But I tried and I started getting the hang of it.

…..But it was far too hot….. I went to the beach as it was a sunny and wonderful day to go out for a swim. But it was far too hot as I reached the sand. The sand burnt my feet as I try to to walk over. I finally touched the water. “PHEW!” I said. Until I felt something stinging me. What was under me as I start to swim through the water. Something was really hurting me. I went out and crossed the road as I reach my car. My foot made me scream louder and louder until I was going to cry hard.

GOALLLL!!!

In the FIFA World Cup Fernando strikes again with his amazing kick.

It goes to Fernando then Alexander then Peter and GOAL!!!!!

england losing by 3 points. Scoreboard 3 to Brazil, 0 to England. England has got a lot of points to get. England runs with the ball then passes to Nender then scores a goal.” PHE EWWWWW” as the whistle blows as the injury and full game ends. What a play. OWWWWW!! as Alexander starts to cry in pain. The crowd goes wild. “JE WHOOOOO” A man says. Brazil has won. England has 1 and Brazil 3 WOW!.

100 Word Challenge

In a town there was a meteor that fell on the ground and caused an earthquake. The constructors named Candy, Mobile and Mountain started investigating on the meteor ( the chocolate egg). The constructors found a body in the meteor and started to fall off the cliff struggling to get up. What happened is that the body grabbed him and fell off the cliff. There was a explosion that happened awhile ago. They were unconscious. They helped each other up. The explosion caused a really bad issue to the town. A massive tsunami of a chocolate wave swarmed the town badly.

100 Word Challenge

The 100 Word challenge was about us creating a piece of writing that has 100 words or under. The prompt of the week was 5 words, Gateway, Black, Friend, Cold and Running.


I was scared as I started to panic through the pitch black, haunting forest. I was running as a shadow started to chase me. A friend of mine once told me that the forest was scary. There was a gateway that led me to a small cottage. It was even cold out there when I was running. It was so warm in the room of the cottage that I felt like I was wearing heaps of clothes. A women came at the back of me and whacked me. I was unconscious. She whacked me until I was covered in blood.
