2015 Term 1 Week 4 REFLECTION

Hi everyone, This is my Week 4 reflection what I did throughout the week and why I did it. Also saying what are my next steps. I have enjoyed typing a lot and I'm going to see you later.


What:
McCahon Class and I was doing a spelling test on “ing” words. We were going through what we were doing  today. We took a note taking workshop with the whole class, also doing an activity on how to take notes. McCahon Class and I was taking notes on what happens on Chinese New Year. It was easy and fun at the same time because of all of the concentration and chatting. Also we were doing art on putting paper mache all over our koru patterns we did in Week 2. Even though we were doing reading in groups, we were creating a goal for the term. All of us were working on the author’s purpose.


So What:
Well, we were doing a spelling test because it was friday and we had to practise them as our homework. The reason why note taking skills was a workshop for us was because of all the people that were copying and pasting. There is 3 reasons why copying and pasting is bad. One: It is plagiarizing. Two: The work you are plagiarizing on is not yours. And Three: You might not understand any of the words.

Now What:
Looking for clues around the text in case of the high level vocabulary in the text. I can make an educated guess ( Not any random number) . Finding a lot of evidence to support myself with my learning.
